We are thrilled to announce the 1st Washington Week for the Animals presented by Animal World USA will kick off July 14th, 2012.

Calendar of Events page is for events taking place across Washington  during this truly amazing upcoming 1st Washington Week for the Animals. 

                                        

Throughout the week, educational institutions, animal shelters, rescue groups, and humane organizations across the state will be hosting scores of wonderful animal-related special events.  Educators, students, businesses and caring citizens will be joining in, creating and planning exciting activities to celebrate and help animals. 

Events will include adoption fairs, spay/neuter awareness events, shelter  days, R.E.A.D. dog programs in libraries, activities for the farm animals and therapy dogs visiting hospitals.

Also to be included are a salute to our K9 military and police dogs, cat initiatives, animal law campaigns, educational programs,  blessing for the animals, and full-filled festival days for families to come and enjoy food, music and the always amazing animals!

Please become involved! Events are being planned now, and we need animal lovers everywhere to start planning so we can all collectively participate!  See the page "Become Involved" on this website for lots of great ideas and suggestions.
